
Ingredients:
6 eggs
½ lb granulated sugar
½ lb almond powder
Preparation:
1. Separate the yolks from the whites
2. Beat the sugar and yolks with a fork or electric mixer until the mix reaches a very pale yellow, almost white color.
3. Add the almond powder and continue to mix with a fork or electric mixer on slow.
4. Using and electric mixer, whip the egg whites to achieve “soft peaks”. Fold carefully into the mix.
5. Heat oven to 350°F. grease a 9-inch round baking pan with vegetable margarine.
6. Bake for 35-40 minutes – check with a knife or skewer for doneness
